Welcome to the T/M Ranch

Our elk hunts are extremely enjoyable with our guests viewing several nice elk daily, and being afforded the
opportunity to harvest a once in a lifetime trophy. Our guides know what to scout for. Unlike outfitters which have
limited access to the property they lease, sometimes they are hunting with you as opposed to guiding you. This is why
our ranch is the best option, not to mention the safety, quality, and value.
The elk that the ranch produces have large body size and carry a lot of mass within their horns. The last four years we
have a 90% kill rate on bulls over 320 class. Typically our elk herds are one bull per six cows. About 60% of our bulls
are mature 6x6ís and some 7x7ís. Scores on these bulls range from 320 to 390 and plus.

Our 12,000 square foot lodge is very comfortable. We offer private bedrooms. After the hunt, come kick back in our
2000 square foot lounge equipped with a stocked bar, fireplace, big screen TV, darts, pool table, and ping pong. This is
an enjoyable area for the hunters and guides to talk about the days events.

The T/M Ranch is a private ranch located in southeastern Colorado near the foothills of the
Sangra De Cristo Mountains. We have several rivers which run through the ranch, i.e. Santa
Claire, Cuchara, and the Huerfano. The elevation is 6800 feet. The terrain is a combination of
rolling cedar ridges, canyons, and river bottoms which provides physically easier hunts than
mountainous areas. All of our hunts are fair chase. We only run small groups of hunters, first
and foremost to provide safety and quality. We have experienced guides that scout and track
our animals year round. Our ranch has also received Colorado Land Management awards, which
speaks for the stewardship and care that we take pride in. We are a working cattle ranch. We
donít over graze our land and believe in cattle rotation as to preserve our vegetation, thus
leading to quality big game. The vegetation consists of predominately Blue Grama, Western
Wheat, some Rye, Chamise, Monarch Bush, and Clover.

Wayne Pearson from ESPN has hunted with us and televised the program in 2003, Cabellaís
hunted with us in 2005, and The Outdoor Channel also hunted the T/M Ranch and televised that
experience in 2008. Andy Ross from Maximum Archery hunted the Ranch in 2008.

We produce enormous bulls, bucks and antelope. Game units hunt 85, 128, and 133.

Whether you are an archer or rifle hunter, we always
manage to take big bucks off the ranch. We have several
ponds which afford archery hunters an excellent
opportunity. Most of the antelope we hunt for will be at
least sixteen inches. For rifle or archery hunters it is a
fantastic experience.

The mule deer hunt is the most challenging hunt that we
offer. It requires a pretty good effort and some patience.
This is what we call a spot and stalk hunt. The mule deer
population is low in density; however one in three bucks
are monsters with a great score accordingly. If you are
looking for a once in a lifetime mule deer hunt, it is here.
Two of our bucks scoring above 200 have been featured
in Field and Stream articles.
