Choose from a Selection of Exciting Hunting Activities
The T/M Ranch is a private ranch located near the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, east of Walsenburg, Colorado. We have been in business for 23 years. The elevation is 6800 feet, and our terrain is a combination of rolling cedar ridges, canyons, and river bottoms on the edge of the plains.
Elk Hunts
Our elk hunts are extremely enjoyable, with our guests viewing several nice elk daily and being afforded the opportunity to harvest a once-in-a-lifetime trophy. Our guides know what to scout for. Unlike outfitters, which have limited access to the property they lease, sometimes they are hunting with you as opposed to guiding you. This is why our ranch is the best option, not to mention the safety, quality, and value.
The elk that the ranch produces have large body sizes and carry a lot of mass within their horns. For the last four years, we have had a 90% kill rate on bulls over 320 class. Typically, our elk herds have one bull per six cows. About 60% of our bulls are mature 6x6's and some 7x7's. Scores on these bulls range from 320 to 390 and more.

Mule Deer Hunts
The mule deer hunt is the most challenging hunt that we offer. It requires a pretty good effort and some patience. This is what we call a spot and stalk hunt. The mule deer population is low in density; however, one in three bucks is a monster with a great score accordingly. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime mule deer hunt, it is here. Two of our bucks scoring above 200 have been featured in Field and Stream articles.
Antelope Hunts
Whether you are an archer or rifle hunter, we always manage to take big bucks off the ranch. We have several ponds which afford archery hunters an excellent opportunity. Most of the antelope we hunt for will be at least sixteen inches. For rifle or archery hunters, it is a fantastic experience.
Bear Hunts
Easy prey, and we have them in rivers and off ponds.
